TOK essay is one of the most interesting tasks in the IBDP. The theory of knowledge offers students to express their learning about how knowledge is manifested in the real world through the TOK essays.
Every year, during the month of September and February, the TOK essay titles are released for next year’s May and November submissions. The TOK essay is an externally marked piece of assessment and carries 66% weightage. The IB releases 6 TOK essay titles and students choose 1 of them to express their opinions and learning in not more than 1600 words.
